Anyone had their sliding dropout frame powder coated? Thinking of having my Explosif done but worried that the dropouts wont be particularly slidy after coating...
How thick is the average powder coat, will it interfere with my slidiness?

It should be fine. There will strip the original paint off and the coat will be the same thickness or very close.

my slidey dropouts have no paint on them from new, so during a respray i'll just get them covered, like i would threads etc.

Had my sutra done with no probs, they are the same dropouts as the explosif.
