Spotted sambob yesterday at CoedYBrenin. Getting some sly-cheeky training in hey? 😉

Not formed a plan yet - Hayfield way though i think. There was a route in MBR a few months back that I'll dig out.

All this may however, be academic, as I haven't run it past my good lady yet.

Fingers crossed.

Not really regular jamie, more of a "when pook wants to organise it" sort of thing.

Sounds good to me, we have family stuff in the afternoon evening so an early start is good

Hayfield start - Is that the Visitors centre at the Sett valley trail carpark?

Let's make that call and say that's the meeting point.

http://lyxus.net/gkgd

I know enough trails round there that we can ride till it goes dark without repeating ourselves (except for the bits that are so good we want to do them again!) and can easily string together a 15 miler that allows people to duck out if they're feeling the pace a bit

Hi hora,

I lived on Park Road as a kid, School Road (near Vicky Park)during my teens, and then just off Barton Road when I bought my own place.
Went to Vicky Park and then the Boys Grammar (left in 85)

But then moved out to Pickmere, which didn't work out, then Holmirth, and soon to Marple...... hopefully !!

there'll be rocky stuff. there'll be steep stuff. the route will be made up on the day but have a look at the hayfield orbital for an idea

http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/hayfield-orbital-beginner-route-pics

I reckon we'll do far phoside and highgate head to twentytrees rather than peep o'day and kinder reservoir
