After a test ride gone bad at northern grip im now looking at an actual bike.
new stumpy carbon comp ( like the look, always wanted one. Dont like the forks)
spectral (got a good spec, is cheaper. I prefer the colours)
rocket (its UK design, Looks like its ideal for the stuff i ride, on the flip side everyone ive seen is corroding on the rear shock mount bit where the powder coating doesnt seem to be right which would bother me)
I know they are all very different. Ive ridden the old stumpy and liked it in 29er guise. the spectral is ok but not had a proper ride just a pootle. The rocket ill be testing at ard rock.
Probably the last opportunity to get a bike i want. Yes ill be testing them (rocket at ard rock, stumpy lbs) Any thoughts on any of them?
Issues with design will annoy me more than the bikes capability. Im probably not a good enough rider to gain much benefit from any of them 🙂
