I'm at my wits end, who do you use for posting wheels?

I can find services to send parcels of the size of wheels for ~£10 but with little/no insurance, insured and you're looking at £30 or so from the royal mail!

I paid about that to have my wheels delivered from germany, with a bloody bike attached!

www.postagesupermarket.co.uk (or .com, I can't remember). It should be around £12 for Parcel Force but sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay for a decent service. I'd rather pay over the odds for a reputable, established service like TNT, DHL or UPS than skimp on postage and have My Herpes lose parcels.

not sure how you are working that out.

I sent one first class to someone on here for a fiver.

The second had to go by parcelforce because i was careless with the packaging, and it pushed it over the 61cm i think) width limit.

I've just had some wheels posted through myhermes go missing and they didn't help at all. Definitely avoid!

Not sure how you got them posted for a fiver, it's a pair of wheels + tyres which pushes it well over the 2KG limit. That and the fact the box is 70cm x 70cm

The quick quote doofer on Postage Supermarket is showing £12-odd for a 3kg package that measures 70x70x30 if that's any use, that's with Parcel Force.

Just had some wheels priced up for postage, £11.99 each fully tracked and insured for £200 with Parcelforce...having to use the wheel boxes i got with the new wheels to send. Not sure if it would be cheaper amalgamating the two boxes into a super box though

Parcelforce for me as well recently. About £12 in a wheel box with adequate insurance.
