[#2981862]

I took this on the Pennine Bridleway near Mount Famine. Looking North towards Glossop. You can see the back of Jacob's Ladder and all the way to Middle Moor above Hayfield. One of my favourite views in the Peaks.
Taken with my Sony WX5 in auto panorama mode - awesome camera!
[img] [/img]
It stitched 5 photos together and got the exposure spot on - all instantly!

Not technically good photos- taken with my Gopro- but these capture a moment reasonably well

Race was stopped while another rider was lifted off the track, so we all got treated to stunning views of the sun getting ready to set.

Have been off bike due to illness most of time since recent Alps trip, so I'll have to post a couple of my fave shots from that instead...

Top of "Nuthouse" in Verbier...

Rock garden in "Jack of Spades"(?) near Bourg St Maurice...

In keeping with the thread title. Yorkshire Dales Sunday. Widdale heading for Hawes returning via Dodd Fell. 22 miles and we didn't see another mtber. Just a compact camera nothing fancy.

Next in the sequence

Bit of a thick lip and a couple bruises and strains, nothing major considering.

Photographic evidence that unclipping becomes a matter of habit given enough time.

great pic ๐Ÿ˜† how on earth did you manage to fall off so badly on that stretch??? its not exactly the most technical of sections ๐Ÿ™

or did you hit something totally wrong at speed? great pic none the less!

Thats correct, rode the hard bit at the top easily enough and then lost it just as I was giving the photographer some lip.

unlucky squire! it happens when you least expect i guess!

was it jacobs ladder by the way? if so yeah the steeper bit at the top is harder, much harder the rest after is just like in the picture - pretty straightforward even at speed....

great picture!

More like a face-activated unclip. Great photo though.

Northwind - great pics from the start area. At exactly the time you were taking those, I was sat on a rock about 10m from the guy with the smashed hip, down by the end of the boardwalk, admiring the view and the amazing sunset.

What an amazing weekend - still buzzing from it ๐Ÿ˜€

Ah, I was wondering what it was. Saw him leaving in the ambulance and they were in no hurry, so I figured it was something unpleasant but not life threatening... but nobody seemed to know much.
