I've got the mount installed on my fork - going from a 6" to 7" rotor on a set of Hayes Strokers. Do I need to put a washer between the bolt and the mount before putting the bolts in the fork? If I do, the brake mount will not fit the caliper i.e. the Stroker caliper hits the bolt and can't tighten up against the mount.

I've installed the mount without washers and then installed the caliper (basically removed it from fork and installed on mount with same bolt kit.

Seems to work as I ride around the street but want to make sure I don't need a washer...

Cheers.

Sounds right, some Shimano adapters even come with a special recessed bolt for clearance reasons.
