Do these exist? I have recently used a flat-post which worked fine, but herself has a post mount frame and may be acquiring flat mount calipers...

I don't think it's possible that way round.

So the frame is post mount (caliper mounting bolts screw into ththreaded bosses in the frame) and the caliper is IS (bolt goes through mount and screws into caliper itself)?
I've certainly done this in the past with a PM fork to IS caliper, so the frame mount should be the same.

Road flat mount is different to the old IS mount or post mount (what was once called Hayes & is now more standard than the IS on mtb).
The only work around I found was replacing the calipers with either older post mount road ones or mtb ones.

Your an entire generation behind there mate LOL! Think of flat mount as old Hayes 22mm mount, but newer ๐Ÿ˜†

What about using MTB post-mount calipers (which can be had cheaply) with road levers? Would that work?

We're exploring using Campagnolo H11 EPS levers and calipers as she's currently got Chorus EPS with TRP HY/RD calipers. So, mtb post mount calipers aren't an option.
It just seems to be driving a new frame which is annoying.

I think Campag worked with Magura on their brakes. May be worth looking at.

Thanks, but TBH we're not going to buy H11 EPS levers/ calipers then cut the calipers off and then buy more levers and calipers and attempt to make them work together. It was just a hope that there was a reasonable short term solution to allow current standard hydraulic road disc brakes on a last year's standard disc frame. Which it appears is not possible, which is a bit annoying.

But not quite as annoying as manufacturers who sell a frameset with flat mounts on the frame and post mounts on the fork - how they ever arrived at that decision is a mystery.

In my defence, my newest MTB is from 2008 and I don't do road bikes. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

It is possible under some but not all circumstances. I've just done it. Assuming by flat you mean IS.

I thought road flat mount was a whole new standard? AFAIK it's a no go, I looked into it as I've got a PM frame and had the offer of some flat mount brakes and there's nowt on t'interweb as to how it can be done.
