As mass events aren't possible 8 regional routes have been released. The nearest to me has thrown up some gravel ideas I hadn't noticed. The only down side seems to be that you need to own the region in Komoot to download the gpx. You can participate through September by uploading gpx files of your completed ride with photos

Hmm... good reason to sign up to Komoot and see what the fuss is about at least
