I love my folding panaracer 2.1 fire x pro but itu doesn't do much for the yeti asr5!.
what is the closest alternative from maxxis, schwalbe, conti etc.
If you are a fan of Panaracer, Rampages are pretty decent tyres especially in the SC version.
Of course if you buy Continental Rubber Queens* it will instantly transform you into a riding god and make you richer, and more attractive to the opposite sex
*Only Black Chilli version obviously
I've gone from them to Racing Ralph which I'm pleased with although to be fair this is on a bike that only comes out with the sun. I have another rigid hub geared bike with Mud X permanently attached for the other 364 days of the year.

Maxxis Ardent or Advantage from Sids Bikes
Specialized Purgatory or Ground Control from Rayments (cheaper than Maxxis)
or you can probably get either from Evans in town.
Don't like Conti tyres personally although not tried Rubber Queens. Both Conti's and Schwalbe's always seem expensive in the decent dual compound versions.
Maybe check out what most people are running on a local Thursday night ride, although I suspect you'll get a myriad of suggestions 😉
I've gone from XC Pros to Ardents (after trying Nobby Nics and Mountain Kings in-between).
Great in anything but mud.
Rampages are good in the dry, but useless if its at all damp and muddy.
