Good stuff in Horner Woods and also off Dunkery Beacon. There are a few locals on here who should be able to sort you out.

I realy dont know , try counting the map squares. Its three and a half miles of up from porlock straight off , I can tell you that.

you could use this bit to make it shorter and its a good dh run too.

going from the bottom of the map to horner.

edit
start from the main carpark in porlock.

robbo69 - I hear there is a railway track that comes out of Ilfracombe that should be about your level, watch out for the tunnel though, it might be scary for your ability level!!
