Been thinking of getting myself a Pompino lately and looking for some inspiration to see the set-ups out there.
This was mine, best commuting, do it all, bike I ever had.

Only bike I have sold, that if I could buy it back I would!
Mine in SS cyclocross mode, with modded Magura HS33s.
Great bikes, very versatile.

flange that was a bargain!
Yes it was - its mint as well.
Probably my fastest impulse purchase ever, saw it this morning, sat in the back of my car by 3pm!
My only concern now is my 50mile round trip commute on 48/16 fixed tomorrow....

Is it hilly? I used to use 48:18 and found it just about right for the hills round her, not too spinny on the flats, but letting me chuff the climbs ๐
Nice colour too, looks like the old Kafinback colours
Erm, well not massively so. Other side of Kingston to Guildford. Its more draggy than hilly so I just need to man up really. My spare free-wheel is back in Suffolk at the mo, so its fixed tomorrow until I go back at the weekend to collect it.
