H) Ludicrously expensive imported ultra-niche skinny jeans made from Japanese denim and rolled up to just above my ankles, loafers, Anthrax tee shirt (but worn ironically, Ironic Maiden yeah?) and a garish two-tone American Apparel cardigan that's at least one size too small

c or f I guess. Baggies or combats depending on weather, and either a generic wicking top or a cycling jersey (picked up a cheap one from TK Maxx). I like to be comfy, don't really give a toss what I look like TBH.

Lycra. If you've got it, flaunt it.

A for road B for the MTB

I like to call it Aldi Chic

All my bling is on the bike ...how much for some lycra or loose illfitting overly long shorts with too many pockets...are you lot mental?

Very expensive waterprooffs for winter £100 + each on boots, trousers and jacket. Not being wet in the cold winter months for hours on end. It does get well used though and is function not fashion

D I think. My top's probably not "proper" freeride but I wouldn't call it an xc jeyboy thing, it's just one of those cheap loose fit short sleeve ones from Decathlon. Going to order a few more soon as just having the one is annoying having to wash it every couple of days.

I wear cheap shorts and tshirt as I can't justify buying good quality stuff until my bike is upgraded to just how I want it.

G, I'm mocked for my disregard of riding specific gents fashion choices by some of my riding mates.
Usually i sport either carhartt cargo shorts or some more bike-suitable enduras, and whichever t-shirt is clean enough and matches whichever set of vans i'm wearing that day.
I've been known to resort to stealth lycra underneath for long day-rides but keep that quiet.....

road f (shorts are lycra - can't count the number of crashes I've caused as drivers gaze in wonder at my spandexed crotch/arse 😉 )

mtb f (baggy over lycra - gorse buggers em up otherwise (also tend to intimidate the livestock as above 😯 )

I own 2 proper bike tops (with pockets in the back) and 1 gilet but all have no discernible writing on - mostly just wear baselayer shirts
