If I buy a 150mm dropper , does the adjuster give me more or less travel , I'm looking to get 170mm out of it . Cheers

My understanding is you can only adjust them down as per the OneUp posts, the advertised drop is the max they run at.
You can buy a 170m PNW Loam off the shelf though...

Maybe check out the One Up dropper, lowest insertion for the travel and there's a handy calculator on the site that tells you what travel will fit your frame along with the alternatives from other brands. More expensive than the PNW stuff, but not insanely so.
