[#12757050]

I’m off to my three day Level 1 coaches training tomorrow and all weekend. Looks like a fairly well put together course.
Anybody else down this and have any feedback?

I probably should have asked before I booked I guess…

Other than it was excellent with the instructor we had and developed my riding as well as my instructing skills no.

Have a blast it’s a fun weekend!

Well it was certainly worthwhile.

Horrific conditions, riding and learning in a heatwave - got up to 39c on the first day.

Had a laugh, got the coaching method very well embedded. Also got some useful tips on my own riding and a bit of time to try them out. The instructor was great, the other four riders were good - two young women (one a WC racer and U19 Oceania champion, the other has been coaching for years).

This morning I went out on my commuter and tried a long descending technical singletrack segment trying to practice some of the techniques i'd picked up. Felt much smoother and smashed my previous PR - looking forward to having the right trail for the tool next time.
