I want someone to take my money in exchange for a cracking trail riding, natural trails style guided holiday in Europe. Anybody have any recommendations?

Whiteroom. Best trails I've ridden, going back for the 5th time. Only a few places left for this year mind you.

Other places are also good, Basque MTB is epic.

(Although a bit of a bore to get to compared to some Alps destinations.)

Basque Mtb looks right up my street. Did you fly to San Sebastian?

Did you fly to San Sebastian?

Depends where you're coming from, there aren't a lot of direct flights from UK. I think Doug recommends flying to Bilbao. From Bilbao you hop on a coach to San Sebastian (which really is very, very straightforward - don't let it put you off).

BasqueMTB. Doug is OCD about making sure you have a top notch holiday. Love the riding over there. Virtually untouchedtrails. You'll rarely see another mountain biker.

Do white rooms still have backcountry weeks?

The thing about lifts is, they're not so much about whether you need them, it just means you spend more time going down. I did a week with A Quick Release- who were also good, btw- and the bottom line was I did more top quality descending in a couple of days with white room than in a week with AQR.

Obviously depends if that's what you're after but I can ride up a fire road in Scotland ๐Ÿ˜‰ I can't ride up a tdf climb in Scotland but then, I don't want to, it was grim!
