Im trying to persuade my group of friends to head to the alps with mountain bikes this summer and not the usual road bikes. If with the pics you could please say where it is. I need to wet their appetites!!!! cheers ๐Ÿ˜€

right i think i'm going to abandon all revision... run to the ports claiming i am a stranded ex pat (at the age of 18 yes) due to the ash and rely upon the charity of some sailor to put me across the channel. While I, bike in hand, plot the latter stages of this plan to get me to the alps.

Argh! Can't ****ing wait!

How easy is it to find trails in places like verbier. I'm heading out with a mate...we are both riding full DH bikes, so going away from life access isn't going to be that easy, but we're both very keen to get away from the crowds.

Any tips?

there is some great pics here... austria is also fantastic with alot of new bike parks in tirol...

cheaper maybe also than france or swiss ๐Ÿ˜‰ with easyjet every 4 days or so now
