[#2554608]

I've got a 20 year service award to spend on me (mostly) 😀

Suggestions for bike upgrades appreciated.

So far I've chosen M540 or M770 SPDs to upgrade from M520 - are the M770s really worth £20 more than the M540?

I've just got carbon bars and seat-post for Xmas.

Bike is a Gary Fisher Big Sur (2007 flavour) BTW. Mostly standard apart from bars, post, pedals, SDG Belair Ti, SLX chain set.

Something decently big and solid, not lots of little things. Holiday is a good idea, training's always a good idea... But I'd be looking at wheels or forks personally, some big ticket item.

Mmmm..the Jedi skills course might be just the ticket. Maybe Mrs Fruitbat could be persuaded along too.

As above, forget upgrading your bike and go riding in somewhere like the Alps (if you havent been already that is). Each time ive been its been ****ing brilliant, best fun on a bike.
