I'm about to change my wheels, my frame is 142x12 spec but I've been using adapters to use Q/R rear
My question is what Axle do I need? I've seen trek e thru axles and various others but no hard an fast rules as to what fits what???
Thanks for any help
The frame is a 2013 lapierre zesty
The wheels are 2012 crank bros iodines

I have a 2013 Zesty and am using the shimano xtr e-thru axle. You could probably get away with one of the cheaper versions though.

The problem is that you can't use the shimano axle nut. You have to use the nut that should (I think) have been supplied with the frame.

If not you can actually get the nut from Hotlines.

I was informed by an LBS to use the axle only with Shimano hubs just in case you are told the same but I run mine with Mavic ones with no problem at all.

Hope that helps somewhat.
