I've just got a new frame with a direct mount dropout. Fitted my existing rear mech (xtr m9000), having removed the 'b-link'. The mech is not very old, and I think it was fine before (although I can't check now), but on the new frame there seems to be a lot of slop in the direct mount interface.
Has anyone else got this? Is it normal? It's almost as if the gear hanger is slightly undersized, or I'm missing some spacer or something.
