I need to lube the foam rings on my fox fork, and reckon the easiest (and cleanest, it was a bit of a mess last time pouring the oil on!) way to get oil onto them is to use a plastic syringe with a wide opening. I've had them before for brake bleeding etc, but can't remember for toffee where I got them from. Anyone any ideas?

Cheers, Chris

Your local chav druggie !!

Failing that, your local Chemist might be worth a try.

I got a pack of 10x20ml for just this purpose for £3 from "medsave" on ebay, the postage was half the cost (but much cheaper than local chemist types).

vets. Don't bother asking a druggie, they normally don't use the big ones you want for a bike (although the fioam rings only want 5ml each so you might be okay)

Just go to Boots and ask for some some small syringes, the oral hygiene ones they do are good for squirting oil into the foam lube rings.

They didnt believe me when I said I wanted them to bleed my bike brakes.

It was only after I said I didnt need the needles they sold me some... 😀

I got a sheep catheter from countrywide farmers. It is a huge plastic syringe and long tube so perfect for bleeding brakes.
The guy at checkout was only slightly confused why I was buying one 😀
