What do folks think of this

Looks like a bargain (wheels are about 1.3k),pretty tempted but hard to find any reviews or info. A few people saying its a bit heavy but cant find the weight either. Anyone got one or know anything about them

I saw it the other day. I was tempted to buy it just for the wheels and sell the rest. Have you seen how much they are?

I think the comments about it being a bit dead was the 80 entry model.

Looking at the spec, it should be light but it's a px bike at £1500.

If you don't get on with it, do what most people do and transfer it to a new frame.

Do you want a light bike, or a high spec frame with a killer set of wheels on it? It's basically a free bike for the cost of the wheels. Buy it, ride it, replace the heavier finishing kit with better items as you go.

The RTD-90 certainly isn't dead feeling, far from it. It's a fair bit stiffer in the BB and head tube than the RT80 due to the use of higher grade carbon.

It would be nice if you/px could decide whether they are clincher or tubular wheels. It seems to vary depending which part of the page you read 🙂

From the bike spec:

700c wheelset designed for tubular tyres

Good luck with those. I wouldn't go near tubs unless it was a race only bike personally

The clincher version isn't particularly light at 1600g, but not too bad.

I've an RT90 non-disc with Force as my winter bike and I am pretty impressed with it. Much nicer than an N2a that I borrowed.

The frame, gears and wheels are excellent however the rest of the stuff you get is cheap crap including the tyres which are diabolical.

Happy so far very fast and comfy
