Good coffee, nice shop and an all round good trip.!
I picked up my 'Bish Bash Bosh' and got a fitting with James.
I was skeptical about the fitting for a cross/adventure bike where you are generally more mobile above the bike than a roady.
During the fit James changed the seatpost, stem and adjusted my reach.
The clever Retul system showed big differences resulting from small changes and altogether I felt much better on the bike.
I could have just picked the bike up and drove straight home but that would have left me changing stems and post (or cutting the standard one) and I would have only got to that point after feeling unhappy on my new bike and then wondering what to try to get comfy..
James also sorted loads of little annoyances that the builders failed to spot:
Bottle cage bolts missing, rack bolts missing, cable not in the BB guide, greased up a few threads... etc.
A successful trip indeed! 🙂
£75 on top of current standard bike price (£1600/1800)?
Nahh, I got a deal that included some money off and a free fitting...
