I need to get some newmtb shoes as my current ones are about 8 years old and definitely look like it. Has anyone tried the planet X shoes? In particular these ones with a boa mechanism These ones
I’m interested in these too as my son is about to nick my summer gravel/commuting shoes and these might work nicely
Yeah I thought they look good too.
I'd be wary of sizing after my Das Boot incident earlier in the winter. They were a touch on the small size. Luckily I moved mine on to a mate with smaller feet rather than have the faff and expense of sending them back.
I don't think the mechanism is actually a BOA (who have great support).
Looking a buying a pair myself but would be winter / muddy use so wondering how they would hold up in those condition.
Spending over £100 for a genuine is tough for shoes that will get 'trashed' a 3 winters.
