Sorry if it's been done already, but has anyone been into the new Planet-X Edinburgh shop?
How much mountain bike/ on one stuff do they have in?

It's where the Tri Store was on South Clerk Street.
About 1/4 of a mile from my flat.... I can see a number of thought processes and justifications that end up with me buying a new bike

Went Sat - the carbon XLS keeps winking at me.

Had their new 360-branded clothes, hardly any accessories, aside from saddles hardly any components, one of every bike in the PX/OO range (which in OO terms means one fatty, one inbred, one scandle) built up but no other brands that they stock, LOTS of staff wearing bright blue PX tops

Wonder if I can write off a Fatty against the business... ability to visit clients in bad winter weather?

I see.
Sounds like not a great range of mtb bits then.
Should probably go for a nosey anyway though.

On One tidyness down the stairs. 15 quid shock pump, bunch of the El Guapo stuff.

It's my new favourite place, or it will be once they get on with a "collect in store" service.

OI, BRANT, COLLECT IN STORE!

Edit: The welds on a 456Evo are lovely close up. Think it can be my third on one.

There are hot drink-making facilities downstairs. And a price list

Weird that - was thinking earlier about popping in on Thursday when I'm nearby...

Someone posted on the Fatbike FB group that they'd got a bargain Fatty today as they were selling off all the stock.

I'd heard a rumour of this just over a week ago. No shortage of bike shops in Edinburgh.

It's a shame for the people who worked there.
