I've seen another thread recently saying things were much better at Planet X. I was going to just add to it, but cound'nt find the thread.
I bought this https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLAGMRT/agu-martello-jacket in a 1 day sale for £25, plus a helmet, plus spare multitool and some merino socks for £50 delivered. Delivery was 48 hours, well packaged, excellent really. I'm not sure I could have asked for more?
The Agu jacket is my new favorite riding thing. Amazing windproof on the tops today in the ice. Thats all. No need for responses, but there does feel to have been an improvement.
Some Planet X product can be fine, or good even - I’ve got an RT59 as my winter bike and I have no complaints at all.
People have issues with their terrible customer service when there are issues, and lots of inconsistencies, poor quality control and daft pricing policies.
They're great if you want cheap, well designed kit and like bonkers sales - and don't mind surly customer service and questionable employment practices.
On the flip side, you bought a jacket that on Monday costs £89, Tuesday £25, Wednesday £13, Thursdays £89 etc...
