Roll out the drive, shift to big ring and BAM.
Chain all loose and the front mech braze on bolt has sheared and gone blind in the mech.
Luckily the Ripley was ready and waiting to take over. Luckily again, wife face calls on the way home to tell me to delay 30 mins as she is feeding the wee one without distraction.
Kind of a bad tale turned good. That extra ride time cost me about £20 for a new mech. 🙂
