I'm traveling to Cornwall from Manchester this week and was wondering if there were any decent trails to try along the way, anybody have any ideas?
Cheers

Ashton Court is - also Cannock Chase is near Birmingham & waymarked.

I wouldn't stop at Cannock if it meant missing the Quantocks or Dartmoor.

No waymarked trails on either but lots of resources on the web to use in conjunction with a map and compass.

If you really want way marked Holdon would be your best bet... but wouldn't say its worth a stop tbh! If your after a loop on dartmoor give us a email sure I can spare an afternoon off work to show you some of south Dartmoor's best.

Haldon, 1 hr waymarked ride, nice cafe, 5 mins off A38 (exeter to plymouth motorway, just after the M5 ends), lovely quiet forest with ace views of the sea dartmoor and exeter.
