[Closed] Pistons

I recently had my front brake repaired by my lbs ,a hayes HFX-Carbon ,one of the pistons is reluctent to move and stays fully backed off (it moves a little). How can i fix this?

how did I know it would be a hayes brake?

anyway, take out pads, lube round the back of the piston with silicon grease and force the piston back in, spray with degreaser and replace pads.

take it back - they clearly haven't repaired it enough.

hold the moving one in with a tyre lever, punp lever until stuck piston moves, bit of dot fluid/mineral oil on piston to lube, push sticky piston back in, repeat, repeat again

next time buy shimano :wink:... and to think that some people on here rave about hayes
