Can anyone recommend some bike friendly accommodation in Aosta within cycling distance of the gondola up to Pila please?
I've been to Aosta 3-4 times over 15 years, but always camping. I can't help you with accom. Other than camping and we've always stayed at the same campsite. But, Aosta is lovely and Italians lovely, one of my favourite places, have a nice trip, you will enjoy. Pila MTB will be good for a few days, maybe 4 days max, but there is still plenty of traditional MTB in the area, but you need transport for that.
Agree with Mr Nana. Stayed in a caravan for a couple of nights at the top of the mountain. Absolutely beautiful sunrise.

Cheers guys, was planning on a couple of days in Pila then heading over to Sauze D'Oulx so sounds like I'm probably on the right track.
