I went to wind out the travel today on my coil pikes for a bit of downhill singletrack only to discover the forks wouldnt wind out. I then gave the dial a wiggle and it skipped back a notch and shortened the travel. After i little more perseverance and trying everything i could think of at the time i ended up with the forks wound down to about 105mm and unable to shorten or lengthen in travel.
Anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone have any general advice?
Duncan unscrew the allen key bolt on top of the u turn and take off the u turn bit, carefully as there are small ballbearings in it. Take them out and put some grease around them. Replace ball bearings and u turn adjuster
thanks, will give it a go
