I know they are supposed to be difficult but I am having terrible trouble popping the b*ggers out!
To be fair the sponges were half glued to the sidewalls and the oil seals seem to be the same!
Tried flat screw driver and tyre lever.
Any tips / hints. Heard that maybe heating them will get them to budge

Gently tap a thin flat screwdriver behind the seal, it will bend after a bit and then it's downhill from there.
