Hey all,

As title, if people have had the chance to ride both - what are the differences?

I do fancy a supermax....

cannondale poached the man who designed the pike to work on the next gen leftys... don't think his work has come through yet though. personally, i find the shorter travel leftys are better than the longer ones. i'd get a pike.

Lefty very linear and not very adjustable I work in a big cannondale dealer and send an awful lot back to tf for warranty work as they go wrong to easily remote lock outs failing, dampers not working and seal heads failing so the fork looses pressure. Cannondale for 2017 are now only putting a lefty on their very top model bikes. Everything else comes with a rockshox most the time a pike, says it all really.

I haven't ridden one but I recall all the initial reviews of the Supermax praising the chassis stiffness and small bump sensitivity but commenting that the air spring was too linear for hard riding and the damping not as good as the Pike.
