Whats the difference between the two in performance / technology? Is there much weight-wise?

Which Revelations? I have some 2006/7 Pikes and 2009 Revs, both dual air u-turn 110-140 and I think they are pretty much identical. I think the 2009 Revs actually had many of the same parts as the 454 Pikes. 2010 Revs are a different beast though.

In which case yes, I think they are more or less identical. Mine weigh just about the same as well.

my 09 revs have been faultless in the last 12months, brilliant forks, strong and light

oh yes, and they're both ace, although my Revs have always knocked a bit when set to anything other than full travel

Thats strange, my Pikes always did that but my mates identical Pikes didn't.

More/less grease or heatshrink in a better position on the spring?

Can't find anywhere with Pike dual airs in stock, revs are ten a penny though

Pikes are for men. Real men. Grrrr..
If Pikes were an aftershave they'd be called "Rampant Stallion".
Revs would be "Charlie". Or "Femfresh".
