Hi
Considering my options. What are the real world differences?
Maybe buying the Boost version?
Cheers
Steve

Lyrik is stiffer, more suppportive, more composed and deals with trail chatter better. Lots of little advantages that add up to make it a much better fork.

Buy boost if your rear end is boost, then you'll have much better choice of wheelsets in future.

We are running both and to be honest I cant tell the difference but I'm a light rider as is Abigale.
Also running some Ohlins which are by far plusher than the other two.

I'm going to have a boost Pike 140 RCT3 29er for sale in the next few weeks off my 4 month old HighTower - probably ridden 12-15 times so in as-new condition.

Great forks but I'm a Fox man and so have some 160mm 36s incoming,

I'l drop you both a mail (I think it only fair to give the OP first dibs) as soon as I have a date for the 36s.

I've read that according to SRAM a Lyrik is the same stiffness as a 20mm shorter Pike, so 170mm Lyrik/Yari = 150mm Pike, if the wheel sizes are the same.

Adding a Luftkappe to a Pike will make it more plush than a stock Lyrik (by enlarging the negative spring).

Cheers Hugh

Appreciate you replying - if fatgit doesn't want it I'll probably take it (unless I've sorted something else)

Many thanks
