How about seeing an actual physio?- I would have thought that would be reasonable with a broken bone, even in the new cash strapped Cameron run nhs ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
I guess it will depend on where it's busted. Anything involving the shoulder muscle attachments will need much more work than just a shaft fracture (spoken from experience of 4 part humeral head fracture 2 1/2 years ago. 18 months of physio in total), highly specialised stuff- not something you can DIY!

Just keep using the arm, maybe with a waterbottle or something. The nerves are sending small messages to the brain, and the brain returns the message to the muscles. Keep the nerves transponding messages every day, that will cut of a fair amount of your recovery time.

Don't overdo it, just train your biceps brachii, triceps brachii, brachialis, deltoideus and your 20 different underarm muscles. There are plenty of exercises on the net you can use.

I take it no surgery involved?
In which case just move it seems sensible advice

no surgery, was right at the top so it's had to heal naturally, guess it's just going to be day to day movement and little excercises then.
