You should have been referred to Physio through fracture clinic? Unless you were not incapacitated for very long and the Doc's didnt think it was necessary?

7 weeks in cast
but i got an air cast on which doc said i could use,so gives me 2 weeks ahead of normal to do physio
he didnt say owt last week as regards to phsio other than i can start it 2 weeks before i go back to see him,they normally put in i for physio on last visit which is in 2 weeks time,but as of now im just doing gentle stuff at home.
