[#4876597]

Only a few days left of my exam hibernation and cabin fever has set in bad. Single speed 29ers, Jones and fat bikes please and ideally a fusion of all of those things.

This one might transform into something a little lighter.

Clink, i'm loving it- just worried i'm not going to ride any other bikes now ! first thing I notice is how precise the handling is, it goes exactly where you want it to. Second thing I notice is the bike just wants to be air bourne, hit any root and it takes off. Great ride.

it was new, before decals went on and the frame bags had worn scuff-stripes on it and it started to look lived-in. Looks like the bike equivalent of an old pair of jeans now ) The newer ones look ace with the shiny clear-coat.

That pic of Jeff in his 'Don't shoot, I fly but I'm not a turkey!' vest.. both tyres look like something knard-size?

Knard won't go in the rear 🙁 - it's great on the front though :))

Martin.

Just moving some bikes that don't get used enough.
It's getting a bit full in the garage.

Anyone know if the Salsa 135mm front hub is the same/compatible with the Jones 135 front?
Are the disc mounts spaced differently?

Jones truss 135mm is a 9mm dropout.
I've just fitted a DMR rear SS hub in one with some 'modification' 😉

spaced disc out from hub with a 2mm spacer. 160 rotor bb7.

hope this helps.

There's a reason, which I know of but don't have it to hand, that Jeff only advises Jones 135-F hub or Paul's Comp WHUB. But obviously some others fit with modification - see above. Just not recommended.
