I agree with this...

Quite why the Guardian has invited a commentator who is so discredited to give his views on cycling to the wider community is beyond me. Liggett was the apologist par excellence for Lance Armstrong and his team, consistently showed poor journalistic judgement during that period and quite clearly lacks any of the editorial independence or investigative skills to be giving out comment on the state of cycling. Poor show, particularly from a newspaper built on high quality investigative journalism

@Jonny J Williams - Hi, Jonny. Really, I have always loved MTB-ing. Have two bikes myself. You are right, the London Olympic MTB races were the best and the legacy is a great course. These were, however, the exception to some pretty boring races since inception in 1996. However, all types of cycling has now made the Games, and I am certainly not a vote against that!

Can some one please ask him whether or not he was born a complete and utter **** or if it developed over time.

They were great as a spectator, but thanks to some low budget production and commentators not having a clue what was going on, the televised mtb races were indeed boring.
