What happened to Peugeot cycles? Looking on the net I came across a pic of this [img] [/img]

I use to have one and loved it, rode it everywhere it till some scroate bag nicked it.

want a new peugeot bike? I've got one for sale...

I think they stoppedinvesting in top end stuff in the 90's and focused on cheaper stuff.

You have no idea how much I lusted after one of those... I desperately wanted the Perthus Pro with a 753 frame!

Don't what happened to them, but it's not right!

That was the 753 with Campag chorus groupset, my first foray into Campag ๐Ÿ™‚

I always wanted the "Fibre De Carbone" model from the mid 80's. I used to have a brochure that I used to dream over. Never did get one!

i can remember a friend buying a perthus(sp?) and as he couldn't find the right size Chorus seatpin he just hammered a 27.2 in, fitted fine and never needed to worry about a seat bolt. it was a lovely bike though.
