Hello folks,

Just a quick one to let everyone know that my new username is Bullheart, to help avoid confusion with the launch of the Bullheart website at the end of the year.

I know I've been a little slack with regards to posting recently. There have been a couple of reasons for that; firstly, work at school is fairly manic, and that coupled with the fact that I now cycle to work and back has meant that trying to put together something meaningful has been a massive FAIL. The other reason is that I haven't really known what to say since the Bullheart JOGLE ended. Everything just ended, and I had a bit of a crisis of confidence with regards to whether what we'd achieved mattered or not.

Suffice to say, I worked out that it did. To all of those that acted as corporate sponsors, I'm sorting out a token of my gratitude as we speak - I haven't forgotten your kindness, and will contiue to wear your logos for the upcoming challenges this year, including the Tough Guy, the London Marathon and Mountain Mayhem.

If you wish to become a Team Bullheart MM rider, we're putting in two ten-man teams this year, with all money raised going to the Sarcoma Trust. We have about seven riders confirmed so far, but we'd be delighted if the weak, the lame and the rubbish want to apply. You'll get a jersey, a t-shirt and a sh*tload of flapjack.

If you're interested, email me at thebullheart@gmail.com

Oh, and lovely to meet some of you at Swinley on Sunday!

Mark

I thought the title that meant you'd had a bizarre transplant.

I don't think Mark should be allowed to enter any competitive events; he's on steroids so he's got an unfair advantage. Bloody cheat...

Bullheart - pah, he should have been more honest when choosing a new username to reflect his transplant. Then again, monkey**** doesnt have quite the same ring, does it ? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cheers for the e-mail, elf, and I'm interested, just have to sort out dates, etc.

When you get a chance Mark, please can you give us the link to the donations page or are you using the JOGLE site?

I am knocking up my sponsorship promo stuff.

Enjoy your honeymoon first though.

Just a quick team update before I set off for school;

Team Bullheart mountain mayhem rider list:

Bullheart
Midget Jim
Cousin Paul
Jay the Chippy
newgal
TN
J
WCA
Fred
cycleworlduk Chris (the missus as well?)
soma rich
diane
singletrackmind
mmb
barnsleymitch
Napalm
nickf
Tazzymtb

Maybe:

Mrs Bullheart

We still need more riders, so add yourself if you want to join one of the two 10 man teams. each rider will be expected to raise money for the Sarcoma Trust, with a prize going to the highest amount raised.

You'll all receive an email from me today with more specific details regarding the whole shebang. There are a whole host things needed to make it successful and fun, so if you can help or contribute in any way it'd be ace.

WCA - beer would be good...!

By the way, the (belated) honeymoon was superb. The toilet in our hotel had a mirror TV, heated seat and multi-directional temperature adjustable pulse bidet. Get in!

Where it is exactly? I may be needing a lift at least from a station or sumfink.

Will there be a pulse bidet?

Yo DezzieB!

Should we just intimidate all the other riders, so they let us win?

Quick question . Can you do a 4 man or mixed 4 as well as a 10 ?
See me an Elf n Dez we is well smokin an radz an dat . I think we might stand a chance of coming in the top 100 if we can get a quick 4th rider . Just its a fair drive for a couple o laps and i do like riding my bike . Still can get some decent sponsorship , if its too complicated then no worries , will be part of a 10 ( I flatly refuse to go first , as i cant run for toffee , let alone the first 1.2 mile) but happy to do night laps / doubles

This is the only uniform I will wear*

I have room in the truck for up to 4 people and 4 bikes. Could probably fit more bikes if necessary but need to leave room for the beer.

*except for the special club on Thursdays
