I've got a bike in long term storage. How do I preserve the tyres?
Urinate on them like taxi drivers, leadt you won't get arrested if in a public place.
Away from electromagnetic radiation and UV they'll be good for at least three years
To put you in the picture. Its my Mag Burner that I'm planning on keeping in the loft for the foreseeable.
I had treated it to a new pair of Tioga Comp Classics and I hoped they'd last for a good few years.
I wondered if wrapping them might help?

Dark, cool and dry is best
Keep them inflated too, or at least with no weight on them
If its a loft isn't it going to go through hot summers and freezing winters? Have you a cellar, bag it up with a moisture removing thing, then at least it will be stable?
