Anyone planning to visit the Harlaw area this week might like to know that Harlaw Road (the section from the centre of Balerno up to the end of the houses) is being resurfaced, so getting by might be problematic - especially during the day. Currie Kirk Road should be used instead.
Not before time, I have to say...
Is the path open from the farm track to the Harlaw visitor centre yet. Was up a few weeks back and had to cycle past all the diggers and dumpers as didnt fancy turning round and going back the way I had came.
The only bit that's "closed" is between the Harlaw dam and Bavelaw car park. Quite a lot of work going on with the reservoirs at the moment as they're going to be used as part of the flood defence system.
Is it closed at weekends also Druidh as i was up during the week.
