Hi, Im visiting Snowdonia this weekend and am looking to ride both loops of the Penmachno trails. Ive noticed on the home website that there are diversions in place on both trails due to felling. Hoping someone has ridden these trails lately and can let me know if the diversions are minimal or whether i should avoid and should start looking at a plan b.

Good timing!. Me and dad rode it on Friday (first time for me). Definitely still worth doing. I had my garmin and the distance was approx 25km for both loops so only 5km is lost to the closed sections.
A word of warning, some sections on loop 2 are rather overgrown so wear some full length gloves if you have them! Also, use some insect repellent; I had to stop to fit a tube in the woods and got midged to death 🙁
