[#11358563]

A group of 10 of us are coming up to North Wales next weekend and 1st up is Penmachno. Anyone know what condition the 2nd loop is in?

Thanks

There's a short section on top of the hill part way round loop 2 where they've been felling trees, that bit was unrideable at the time (approx 4 weeks ago) but possible to walk the bikes through.

Was my first visit, really enjoyed it.

Might be moist in places.... its known for being soggy during hosepipe ban conditions

Thanks Lads, we know it will be wet. Just fitted some RRP mudguards 😀

I was there earlier in the month and the bit of the second loop with the board walk in it was meant to be closed but not clearly signed as such - I hope this has changed as some of the boardwalk was broken. As above there were a couple of other diversions in place too. Still fun. Still very wet!

For anyone interested, loop 2 was very wet and had a couple of bits of boardwalk damaged.

Loop 1 that 1 trail that's an uphill stream was awful and one part of the final descent was blocked off.
