Could anyone just clarify,can us MTBers go and have a bit of fun along the Penine Way? I just moved to Wakefield and Im struggling to find some hills and offroad. Help!

Pennine Bridleway is what we can use, not the Pennine Way, which is a footpath.

Ok that clears that up, cheekyboy Im just west of wakey and can get to the bridleway in about half hour, theres a route on Endomondo which incorporates the Bridleway.
Unless anyone could point me in the direction of any other routes...

Can you give more detail on the route. Also where on the penine bridalwy can you get to in half hour. Thanks

Yeah I've seen these guys but have invested into a set of lights for this time of year as they do tuesday and thursday night rides. Might join them on a saturday when I get one off

Bob, as I said, quite new round here, Ive found a 14mile burn around Hebden, but looking at about an hour from Tingley where I am. Or if you park up at Beamsley just East of skipton theres this one http://www.endomondo.com/routes/8348892 about 30mile from me

Apply the filters to narrow down the tracks near Wakefield, mountain biking, off-road etc to see what the locals are riding.
