Anyone got a luxury cottage recommendation ?
It needs to be local to Glentress and Innerleithen (Traquair is perfect).

Just spent the weekend staying in the self catering cottages at Traquair Arms. Not exactly 'luxury' but really nice, clean, well appointed and newly kitted out. We stayed B&B, 4 sharing each cottage, and dined in the pub at night, which was surprisingly good.
Innerleithen
Just stayed at Innerhaven in Innerleithen , very nice indeed, decent prices, very decent people.

We stayed at The Mill House in Kailzie last year and was awesome, as was Chapelhope Farmhouse on St Mary's Loch the year before. The Neidpath Castle looks good too - not stayed there but walked past it last year! They used to have a stunning place in Innerleithen but seems to hae disappeared off the site.
Innerhaven as mentioned above is right next to the best riding in the Tweed valley. Andy will be more than happy to give you directions to the best of the trails too.

Stayed at Traquair Cottage near Cardrona earlier this year, slap bang between Glentress & Interleith. 5 mins from Peebles by car.
Right on the River Tweed, Secluded (3 neighbours), golf course, hotel, shop in walking distance (well 5 mins biking). Backs on to big woods with forest trails, Log fire, garden. The week went pretty quick.
Not too expensive not too cheap. Only hitch was a bat in the bathroom one morning 😯 They even had a lock up for the bikes.
