so need new pedals as my 959s have had it.
would like more platform but when i put my shoe in a mates 530 trail none of shoe came close to touching any of cage.
so do any of the other brands ie time/cranks give more stable platform from your experiences? am using sidi dragons

I've got some of the old one's with the plastic cage. They're more supportive than the 530's, the cage on the 530s is more to stop them spining when you stamp on them than for support.
Edit: Mine are M424's Pretty weighty though I think.

Too late for another edit. Similar weight to the 530 it turns out. Who knew.
