Does anyone know where I can get a (sensibly) priced pedal thread helicoil kit from?
The only things I can find are 9/16" x18tpi for right hand threads. Pedals are 9/16" x20tpi according to Sheldon Brown. Ideally I'm looking for a kit with both left and right threading tools.

£140! Not worth it for me to buy the kit. Unless I can find a lbs with the tools I think it's new cranks time 🙁

Speak nicely to jamie porter on here....... He has/runs a machine shop and bought the kit recently.
Maybe he will be able to fix it for you.
