Went to Peaslake today with some friends. Saw all the logging work going on. Right at the start of BKB. Went further along and the trail was covered in debris from the trees they have chopped. Some big chunks of trees. Bit disappointed, wondering who will be clearing up after them?
Having said that, today has been the best ride of the year so far, sunny warm and dry (as in really really wet). 🙂

They're was talk about this, apparently they're keeping away from BKB though, I'm sure they'll clear up, if not someone will. Amazing day for riding, off to hospital in a minute to have my collarbone plate and hook removed so very envious.
I went yesterday as well. there is some damage at the very start of the trail where one of the machines have gone across and there are branches along about 200m of the trail. they are working right next to the trail as we had to wait for a tree to be chopped before we could pass because it was hanging over the it.
