NBT.. the 2.4 ADvantage give 14.89% more drag than their slimmer sisters I think its only fair to factor in this drag co-efficient when making a selection. I might have to pre ride the route and leave suitable tyres dotted around allowing me to be on the best rubber at the right time...

Pook is it possible that a group could go down Pindale and the other go down Cavedale then regroup? That way everyone is happy and people can decide 'on the day' how fruity they feel?

Pook - How about sending a one-man group down one way, then the rest of you can ride off in the other direction? I didn't have anyone in particular in mind. Just anyone who seems to be doing the most moaning about routes, frames, forks, conditions, weather, rocks, tyres, air density, ethnic mix of the group, .......

you get the picture

I'm going to try and make it. Trying to get clearance

From where I come from it is a great annual honour for one to be presented with a frothy head of ale.

You wouldn't know style if it kicked your ****ing head in outside a kebab house!

So you don't read Spanish? The strapline translated means "for people with 'special' feet"

Those steps are here, good descent, but better with a fair bit of space between people.

Doesn't surprise me... I once overtook a relative of a certain Mr Craig down there once, but i'm sure he was just being nice. I doubt it will ever happen again.

The meeting point will be just across the road from the train station in Edale.

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=412450&Y=385352&A=Y&Z=120

Getting there might be an issue - you;ll have to check the train times and costs, it's not cheap as it crosses the border into derbyshire

I was thinking this had been off the top of the forum for a while!

Lesa - it'll be good to have you both along. Between us, me and NBT have knocked up something of a route which should please the troops. Let's just pray for good weather.

None of your beeswax young sammy me lad. If I were put the route up on here, I'd have a week of you lot whinging. And bearing in mind I've got to put up with 4 hours of you lot whinging on Saturday anyway, I don't much fancy adding 5 days on top of that.

😉
